Scott wasn't satisfied with his revenge however and turned his sights on the second person he held responsible for his wife's death: the police officer who failed to stop the killer. He tortured him until he was reduced to begging and screaming, then killed him off. While the police never managed to capture him, a vengeful Scott took matters into his own hands and found the man who killed his wife. In the ensuing struggle, Emma was killed, Scott heavily injured and the burglar managed to escape. Bishop attempted to arrest the burglar, but he resisted. It turned out that a man had broken into Scott's house and was threatening him and his wife Emma. In 1987, rookie police officer John Bishop was sent to Scott DJ's home in Aurora, Colorado when neighbors called in a noise complaint. The hacking case against Mirror Group Newspapers continues, with a witness recalling how Piers Morgan, who was editor of the Mirror, 'mocked' the boss of BT when explaining how to hack phones. The Killer is the posthumous overarching antagonist of CASE: Animatronics.
